Racetec's Dyno Tuning Service has proven to be a major asset since its inclusion to the business in 2003.

The Dyno was originally introduced to service Racetec vehicles alone, and to assist in our own engine development needs. As time went by, its popularity increased and gradually we began to offer this service to the general public. We currently accommodate for numerous shapes and breeds of Formula 500/600, Go-Karts and Motorcycles.

Racetec's machine runs rings around the less conventional engine style dyno systems. Eliminating time, cost and the inconvenience of having to pull the engine off your car, our dyno allows you to simply wheel straight-on and strap down. Once you're on board, the car is started via the dyno's electric start system. The benefits don't stop there, take a look at this:

	Its Eddy Current Load Absorption Unit allows exceptionally accurate (repeat) industry standard inertia or loaded dyno runs
	All other systems can be simultaneously check to ensure they are working properly. ie, water and fuel systems. brakes, ignition etc..
	Results are provided by an easy to read Computer Print Out which includes: Rpm's, Horsepower & Torque, calibrated in response to air temperature and density at the time of testing. All results remain confidential.

When its all boiled down - the science behind dyno testing is quiet simple. All dyno's calculate information recieved using a set mathematical formula. Therefore we believe the initial engine read-out, although important, becomes secondary in the overall scale of things...and what matters most is the art in making the right changes to the engine so that IMPROVEMENTS to the initial read-out are achieved.

RACETEC DYNO PRICES:

Base Rate = 1 hour (or 5 runs) = $100.00* for Non-Racetec Built Formula 500/600

Base Rate = 1 hour (or 5 runs) = $75.00* for Racetec Formula 500/600, Motorcycles & Go Karts

*Parts and/or additional Labour or Time, should they be required, are not included in price.

	Advance booking required for all Dyno Testing.
	Saturday morning appointments also available.
	All test results remain confidential.
